about us

My name is Sam your favourite agender captain.

I am the founder of Wonderful Wargames, which I started out of a desire for a place where people like myself could be who they are in comfort and without reservation.

I’m a non-binary transfemme, my pronouns are they/them.

I have a deep love of tabletop games of all stripes, from Warhammer to Shadowrun and everything in between.

I also have an ongoing love affair with deck builders, my favourite being Star Realms.

Aside from Tabletop, I love a nice cup of tea, walking my dog, and late night World of Warcraft.

My name is Steph, your friendly local gay ADHD riddled transwoman (She/Her), here to represent the zoomer demographic here at WW.

While not being an expert in any of them, I’m a big fan of everything Warhammer 40k related from the hobby to lore to gameplay. I love getting new players into the game so I’m always up to run demos or give advice.

I also love board games, particularly social deduction focused ones like Deception, games that involve an element of performance do something to my brain.

I’m constantly acquiring new hobbies and so aside from that, I enjoy chess, jewellery making, and hip hop music.

I love hearing about other people’s interest so I’m usually down to have chat about anything really.

Come say hi!

My name is S.

He/Them.

Pan(Ro)/Ace.

I’ve been a lifelong geek and have been roleplaying since the nin… well long enough to know what THACO is.

I’m here to help you with anything involving making in the gaming space; from guiding you through your first time putting paint onto a brush, to tips and tricks to make your minis pop.

If I don’t know how to do something, we can blunder through it together until we make it work.

I’m Neurospicy and introverted, so I might be distant or distracted but I will absolutely help you with anything you need.

Brenda has been playing tabletop games for over 3 decades now, starting with the old classic dungeon crawler HeroQuest and AD&D way back in 1991!

She is a bit of a magpie when it comes to picking up and games and her rubber arms can be twisted into playing most systems.

Brenda mainly enjoys older outdated game systems (both RPGs and miniature based games) alongside a variety of newer small scale games with genres ranging from fantasy, Wild West, Pulp Adventures, through to scifi!

Outside of gaming she loves the theatre and is a huge fan of Ska music.
